E7AO: ep 22
Uhm, what? Like, Renton hey there sexy. So, those corpses in the Gekko I’m assuming… my first thoughts were, morbidly, Talho and her child. I FUCKING HOPE NOT. And it seems… well, the subs I saw were “the scub has breached the quarantine” but I’m assuming that means reached the Limit of Questions…
So, uhm, FUCKING WHAT?
I just don’t even know where to gather my thoughts any more…
• Truth claims he is not a Secret or a scub or a human. He’s just the ~truth~ who doesn’t tell the truth. Fuck you, Truth.
• Ao can’t see the trapar-tidal-wave because his Nirvash doesn’t have a “heart/soul”? No archetype. Aha, so the Mark I is the recreation of the original Nirvash which I’m assuming Eureka still has or I mean, wasn’t Naru flying a Nirvash? IDEK anymore. Didn’t they say in the beginning Ao can see the trapar naturally and “the world must look different through his eyes”?
• So with all the Rentonis-a-sexy-bitch awesomery, minus Holland’s seiyuu, he’s in his world I’m assuming, the E7 world, which looks post-apocalyptic. Was this the immediate result of what they did at the end of E7 when the control cluster blew into smithereens? IDGI. So lost. What happened I NEED TO KNOW.
• Time to re-watch everything.
• And still understand nothing.
• Why do I like this show.
What if the end of AO is the whole “10,000 years ago humans were forced to leave the earth” because Ao and Eureka fucked up the timeline and the Coralians take over the earth and the humans leave in order for the two timelines to finally converge and the earth is the way it is in E7 when humans return 10,000 years later and resettle and then 3,000 years later E7 takes place?
So, like. There’s no possible way they can “fix” the timelines logically. Except Coralians can change the laws of physics at will. And apparently, so can Truth cuz obv he pulls off all this crazy withcraftery shit. And also he is a Secret. So WHAT THE FUCK.
I just don’t know anymore.
But then there is still the issue of scubs appearing in history sooner than what was recorded in the E7 timeline.
YES THERE IS. IT’S LIKE A PARADOX? I’M JUST GOING TO ROLL OVER IN A BLANKET AND PRETEND THAT LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE.
Uhm, E7AO eps 19-21?
So I feel like I should make a E7AO reaction post for the episodes 19-21… but all that comes to mind is KFGKLGJLSKGJKLAGJKLGJLKJHLKFDJG and very little coherence:
• What is Truth trying to accomplish?
• Calm the fuck down Elena, yes your whole life has been a lie.
• How many timelines are there now? 2? 3? 203r40985?
• Renton kthxbai
• So Ao’s gun fucked up space-time and erased some people or changed their lives or whatever. And then Maggie Kwan gets flashbacks of her previous alternate life. HOW? WHY? WHAT?
• Okay so Eureka you need to stop just apparating everywhere. Or at least tell me how you do it.
• WAE ARE YOU LIKE THIS E7AO. WAE.
• I’m totally lost on the Secrets playing for team Japan. Why? Politics, diaf.
• Srsly will be satisfied with nonsensical ending so long as we get a Renton.

an art dump: Eureka 7: Ao Theory; Spoilers for Episode 21
Okay so after watching episode 21 of Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean, I’ve thought of a theory. Keep in mind that it’s mostly speculation so it may not be true. I’m more or less writing this for the fun of it (that and I don’t know anyone else who is into the fandom ): ) and will keep an open mind of…
Interesting! I have a few questions though! First, “Due to the fact that their (The Secrets?) original purpose was to come in contact with the scub coral and fuse with it (making a huge explosion), I’m guessing they are at least made of part Coralian/Scub.” — Is this true cuz I thought the Secrets’ original purpose was to destroy the scub/Coralian?
Deux ~ “Since even in that time period, they have not been able to make time machines/inventions such as that, I would think that someone might have thought to use the Coralian elements, or Scub elements, and create a new being, the Secret.” — I’m with you! My theory here is that an Anti-Coralian/scub movement OR Renton OR both OR ????? have created the Secrets to erradicate the scub in the AO timeline, since they are not supposed to be there. However, in episode 21 I think Eureka mentioned “Is Ao fighting the scub?” so I’m not sure if she’s still for destroying the scub or is now against it. IDFK. Fuuuuu.
3 ~ “Since they’re also “living creatures” and act upon themselves (and not be entirely controlled), I think they would be able to evolve on their own? (which would’ve explained why there were earlier Secrets from episode 21 that popped up in that timeline)” — Kind of like The End evolved in the end of e7 and how Nirvash evolved in e7? I’m a little lost though… what earlier secrets from episode 21? xD Halp!
So at first Naru was a normal kid with scubs in her. Then she became the scub coral teen Jesus and killed a bunch of people, and now she’s back to chilling at home, protesting like nothing ever happend.
wtf Naru. Thats not how killing people works. Where the truck is the Nirvash? UHHHHHH
What if the Secrets are, in correlation with Anemone & The End, “Anti-Coralians” or even a form of the Coralian “Antibody” that has been poisoned against itself?
Therefore kind of similar to Anemone & The End…
The main question on this theory is who or what is causing this to happen. Cynn and I have been re-watching AO, and have caught on to a few things we missed in all the excitement before !___! ~ that being the scub coral and Secrets come from two separate portals—therefore they are two separate events, and of course, that the Secrets seem to be following after the scub coral into AO’s world.
I’m quoting Cynn here: “So when happily ever after happened and Eureka and Renton got pregnant with Ao, something went wrong and Eureka was catapulted into the “past”, where she had Ao before disappearing 10 years ago, when he was three. And it was the biggest scub burst in history that Eureka disappeared with.”
Firstly, in regards to one of my earlier theories on the universe/s this series is set in, then the “past” would be considered either a) not just the “past”, but the other world’s “past” or the “earth” Renton and Eureka first landed on xxxx date. Ao’s current world. Or b) It’s technically the same world, just Eureka’s first emergence on the earth was WHEN SHE FELL THROUGH WITH RENTON not when she fell through pregnant with Ao. That would split the earth from it’s original “past”, perhaps back in the 1960s as was previously mentioned the first time the scub appeared in history; instead of in whatever year it was the scub coral originally became conscious on earth—in the original Eureka Seven timeline.
So if that doesn’t make any sense…
“And since they’ve introduced fucking TIME TRAVEL, maybe some questions from Eureka Seven can be answered. One being, when Eureka and Renton proceeded the Zone, passed the Great Wall, and landed on EARTH they were essentially going way the fuck back in time, to like, before everything. It’s a theory. So time travel had already been established in the first series.”
“So either A) Eureka!FF should be aware she has traveled into the past before and of everything she learnt then. (And question: Why does Eureka!CF not recognize Ao as her son? Having given birth to him yet or not, the resemblence is TOO uncanny). or B) Eureka!CF’s travel didn’t occur in Future #1 which Astral Ocean is based upon, and her appearance in Ep 12-13-? has changed the course of events and created Future #2.
Basically, Eureka has potentially created a new timeline if, when she “first” fell pre-AO post-E7, she was not aware of her actual first travel where she meets with thirteen-year-old Ao, etc.”
OR basically, Eureka has created a new timeline if, when she “first” FELL IN/DURING/TOWARDS THE END OF E7, she landed in or before the 1960s for the first time, hence starting this split-world/universe and time traveling wtf-ery.
I digress, on the theory of Secret-poisoned-Anti-Coralian-antibodies or whatever… on the who or what—perhaps there is still an anti-Coralian movement, within the military/government, even though Dewey is gone—or more likely, since the Limit of Questions technically was reached, this is the backfire, in the end splitting into two universes and fractured through time—since Coralians “can change the laws of physics at will” and all that wtf-ery.
So I guess… either the universe was split when Eureka and Renton first landed on “earth” or when the Limit of Questions was technically breached.
IDK on the time thing though. T3T but, again,
“Did Eureka contaminate the earth when she and Renton first breeched the Zone/Great wall in the first series, and therefore changed the future to involve scub for the first time in ____ or possibly the 1960s(? mentioned in ep13) before it originally had been created by humans (the whole Eureka space stuff getting dumped in the ocean and evolving according to one of the first series theories on the origin of the Coralian)??????????????”
Essentially, I think a theory has sort of been confirmed but only asked another major question. And if Eureka said earlier “The Secret aren’t your enemies” and then, “You must help Ao destroy the scub coral” or whatever she said to Naru, perhaps they are trying to clean up a mistake, although I don’t think it’s possibly to re-fabricate into one universe again.
For some reason, the scub are coming through portals onto Ao’s world/earth, and the Secrets are following through portals.
